Kori Jaminson is a journeyman laborer in her first year. In the summer of 2016, Kori was accepted to the pre-apprentice programs through the Chicago Women in Trades. It was there that she became determined to work hard and become a tradeswoman. While in school, she also worked as a prep cook in a local restaurant. She was approached by Bob Clark, Chairman and CEO of Clayco at a recruiting event and was soon hired to work on the Cook County Central Campus Health Center. Bolstered by her work stability, Kori hopes to continue her professional development and was recently promoted to the role of assistant superintendent.
