Scholarship Student Spotlights

Trenton Kwasa

The CCDI Build Our Future Scholarship recipients Trenton Kwasa and Kyah Donald were presented with laptops, laptop bags, power banks, thumb drives, and notepads. CCDI is proud to support these two exceptional students as they start their collegiate journey at St. Louis Community College in the Engineering Sciences program to cover their general education requirements allowing them to transfer into their chosen schools of Missouri S&T for Kyah and Washington University in St. Louis—UMSL Joint Engineering program for Trenton. Thanks to Clayco, Tim Kleczkowski, Sandra Marks, and Derek Maschek for all of their support throughout this process.

Kyah Donald

Darius Wherry

CCDI awarded Darius Wherry a Build our Future Scholarship on April 21. Darius is a graduate of North Tech High School and is currently attending Missouri Western State University. Missouri Western Alum, Rick Moeckel of Clayco, is his mentor. Mentors Rick Moeckel and Dan Lester visited with Darius Wherry at Missouri Western for the Engineering Awards Banquet. Darius recently completed a successful summer internship with Concrete Strategies and he is doing well in school. He is interested in Civil Engineering and is connecting with other engineering students. He finished his first year with a 3.0+ GPA.

Steven Graves

Steven Graves was awarded the Build Our Future Scholarship in June. Steven is a graduate of North Tech High School and is attending Missouri Western State University to study engineering. He is completed a summer internship with SCI Engineering Inc. and he is interested in Civil Engineering. Steven is being mentored by Morris Hervey, the president of TSi Engineering.
