CCDI hosted our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament and fundraiser at Glen Echo Country. Special thank you to the many sponsors who made this event possible. The tournament was followed by the cocktail hour and presentation. Thank yous goes out to L.I.F.E. Arts for providing music for the event. Participants heard from Dr. Chris Kilbride, superintendent of Ritenour Schools and how CCDI has impacted their school structure. Mentor David Payne of PayneCrest Electric and Mentee Demarco Poole talked about the CCDI program and how it has been a reciprocal relationship. Build Our Future Scholarship winners Trenton Kwasa & Kyah Donald spoke about the impact the scholarship has had on their lives. Finally, Chris Conners and Tom Sieckhaus talked out the Mentor and Mentee relationship from an Apprentice Scholar purview.
