Meet Rashaad Smith! CCDI was introduced to Rashaad by his St. Louis Job Corps instructor prior to his graduation in early January. We knew from the moment we met Rashaad that he was a perfect fit for our program and quickly got to work on finding opportunities for him in the electrical pathway.
We are happy to report that Rashaad recently was hired on full-time by the team at Guarantee Electrical Company! CCDI caught up with Rashaad this week to check in and see how things were going. He cheerfully replied: “I love the people and the work environment. I’ve been trying to absorb a lot of information at once, but I’m catching on very quickly. Overall, it’s great and I’m looking forward to my future with Guarantee.”
CCDI would like to thank Dave Gralike and Rich Ledbetter for partnering with our program to make this opportunity possible for Rashaad. We also would like to give a shout out to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) for supporting Rashaad as he enters into this next chapter in his life.
